travel awards

ASRI also provides several travel awards to trainees who first-author a top-ranked abstract.  Travel award winners will be determined onsite at the annual meeting and checks will be presented to all awardees at the Awards Gala Dinner.

Presenting Author Requirements

If your abstract is accepted for presentation, you will be required to REGISTER for the meeting to confirm your acceptance and be included in the journal proceedings.

All twenty-four (24) Oral presenters (Gusdon & Oral sessions) will also be required to complete a Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form.  Communications will be made with the presenting author only.

Publication

All accepted papers will be published online in the June issue of the Journal of Reproductive Immunology.

Oral presentation guidelines

Each presentation has been allotted 12 minutes with 3 minutes for questions.  Because we have concurrent sessions, time limits will be enforced by the session chairs; we thank you in advance for helping us stay on time.  The presentation rooms will be equipped with an LCD projector and a Macbook computer.  All speakers will be asked to upload their presentations on the conference room computer no later then the morning of their presentation.  There will be a technician available in the mornings and lunchtimes to assist presenters with uploading their presentations and checking slides.  There will not be time for changing computers between presentations, so we ask all presenters to utilize the conference computers.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster Boards are 4’ x 8’ and are double sided (usable area 46″ x 46″). We strongly recommend that posters be in landscape mode to ensure that your entire poster fits within the metal frame of the poster board. Velcro tape should be used to hang your posters. Pins or thumb tacks can also be used on the poster boards. We will provide additional pushpins at the meeting. Abstract numbers will be indicated on the poster boards. Posters should include the title of the abstract and the names and affiliations of the authors.  All information should be readable from distances of four 4 feet (1.2 m) or more.  Times New Roman or Arial font size 12 is recommended.

Poster Awards

All abstracts selected for poster presentation compete for awards in addition to the poster display.
