How to SubmitDeadline Extended: MARCH 1, 2023 Abstract Submissions are now CLOSED for 2023 ABSTRACT SYSTEMSubmissions should be made by the presenting author. If the abstract is accepted for presentation at the meeting, the presenting author is required to register and attend the annual meeting.
Presenting Author Requirements
PublicationAll accepted papers will be published online in the May 2023 issue of the Journal of Reproductive Immunology. Live PresentationsAll accepted abstracts will be presented in person at the meeting as either a poster or an oral presentation. Poster presentations will compete for awards during the poster sessions. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations in the breakout sessions. Six Gusdon finalists will be selected as featured oral presentations and compete for the Gusdon award during this special session.
Oral PresentationsOral presenters will have a total of 15 minutes including Q&A for their presentation at the meeting and should prepare a PowerPoint presentation in 16:9 format with no more than 12 slides. IF you are selected to present orally AND are from a country that is currently restricting your travel to the US due to Covid-19, you may contact us to pre-record your oral presentation for live playback at the meeting. Authors will still be required to register for the meeting to present their work via video (registration fee covers additional AV costs). Gusdon Competition for TraineesDr. John Gusdon Memorial New Investigator Award is given annually to a new investigator with trainee status who has made a significant contribution by presenting an outstanding research paper during the annual meeting of the ASRI. This award is given in memory of Dr. John P. Gusdon, a founding member of the ASRI, and an advocate of student participation in ASRI Meetings. When you submit your abstract, please check whether you would like to be considered for the Gusdon Award and provide proof of trainee status by letter from supervisor. Poster Requirements**Please note this important change to the poster format** All Posters will be printed on retractable, free-standing banners this year - NOT TRADITIONAL POSTER BOARDS. Complete details on how to order will be provided to accepted authors, but the cost should be similar to printing a regular paper abstract. See the banner layout graphic below for direction on how to design your poster. Abstract numbers should be indicated on the poster itself. Posters should include the title of the abstract and the names and affiliations of the authors. All information should be readable from distances of four 4 feet (1.2 m) or more. Begin your abstract with the abstract title, author’s names, and author’s, affiliations. Underline the name of the presenting author. Abstracts should be structured and consist of no more than 500 words, and organized into four paragraphs labeled: Problem, Method of Study, Results and Conclusions. Please see sample formatting below.
ABSTRACT TITLE - Maximum 20 words. Please capitalize the first letter of the first word. The remaining words should not be capitalized. Please do NOT end the title with a period
AUTHORS & AFFILIATIONS - You must enter the names of ALL AUTHORS (including yourself if you are an author) in the order in which you wish them to appear in the printed journal text. You will also need to include their institution, city, state and country. Author names entered in any other section will NOT be printed in the author index or the final program.
ABSTRACT BODY - Please include your abstract body below (max 500 words). No tables or images will be allowed. Your abstract must be organized into four separate paragraphs: Problem / Method of Study / Results / Conclusions

GUSDON COMPETITION - TRAINEES ONLY. Indicate if you wish to be considered for this award. Applicants will be required to upload a letter from their supervisor attesting to their trainee status.
TRAVEL GRANT - Select if you would like to be considered for a travel grant to attend the meeting. *Note: for 2021, there will be no travel grants as the meeting is fully online and no travel is required.
PERMISSIONS - Acknowledge author permissions and authorize publication online in the journal.
REGISTRATION - Confirm that at least 1 presenting author will register for and attend the meeting to present the work.
