Standards

The board, FCRI, and ASRI sets up Fellowship Review Committee and monitors the educational standards for clinical Reproductive Immunology fellowship programs. 

Fellows of Reproductive Immunology

Fellows who complete an ASRI-approved fellowship program are considered to have the standard qualifications and skills for the special area of reproductive immunology in obstetrics and Gynecology by ASRI.  Once the fellows fulfill the stated requirements, they are recognized as Reproductive Immunologists.

Requirements

In order to obtain the RI fellowship, the following requirements are necessary:

  1. Fellows must complete a yearly clinical course on RI in conjunction with the Annual Scientific Meeting of the ASRI. The online course will be available for special circumstances, such as fellows residing outside the USA.
  2. Fellows must maintain an active membership at the ASRI.
  3. Fellows must pay an annual maintenance of certification (MOC) fee for Fellow Clinical Reproductive Immunology by the Clinical RI Board, ASRI. The annual fee for the certificate is $220.
  4. Fellows must earn MOC points every 2 years to be reported as participating in MOC. To be reported as certified, fellows should earn 20 points every 2 years  (100 points every 5 years) and meet the MOC assessment requirement. 

  5. Fellows are encouraged to maintain active academic participation at the Annual Meetings of the ASRI by presenting their clinical/research studies (Not mandatory).
